Chuck Close inspired portrait

Illustration B Project 3, Chuck Close Inspired Portraits. Created through Adobe Illustrator. Working with a grid, I had to individually paint each "diamond" for my profile by sampling different skin tones, hair, etc. This is one of those projects where you have to zoom in really close to appreciate the amount of detail. Each tiny diamond shpae is technically a painting in itself, while upon being zoomed out makes up...ME :)
